The Winds of Change Are Blowing In ACE
Take a look around American Championship Entertainment. Things are changing after than they ever have before. A locker room of new hungry faces are filling the spots of ACE's roster. Jack Gallow, less than six months in the company, has already tackled Danny Maff to win BattleBowl, went toe to toe with Bobby Fish and took former ACE Heavyweight Champion, Jay Lethal, to one of the best matches in 2011.
Tag Teams have come and gone in ACE, but never have the teams flocked in like this. The Movement, The All Star Sensations and Quiet Riot have all recently come into American Championship Entertainment and have shook up the scene. These teams have been a shot in the arm to ACE, giving the fans new faces and new rivalries to talk about.
One of the biggest changes has to be the title holders in ACE. The ACEs (William Wyeth & Tom Scanlon) are two men born out of respect for one another (after spending 6 months damn near trying to kill each other). Wyeth in his 4th regin with Tag Team gold his no stranger to championship pressure, but for his partner, it's another story. Scanlon, holding the titles for only 30 days prior with his brother, is on his first major run with a title.
The Diamond Division Championship has always been seen as a stepping stone to greater things. For Andrew "Tiny" Johnson, this is the greatest achievement of his career. The former Tag Team Champion was always told he was the weak link of the team. With his comeback and win of the Diamond Division Championship, giving him his first singles championship, he sure did prove them wrong.
As far as the ACE Heavyweight Championship, it has been an elite club who could add their name to it's list. 2012 has added a new name to the list, Stockade. Stockade is not a stranger to championships, but never has anyone more forcfully made his name and risen to the top of ACE like he has. In his first main event match, he captured his first Heavyweight Championship....adding himself to an even more elite list of men who have held the ACE Tag Team Championship, the ACE Diamond Division Championship and the ACE Heavyweight Championship.
If this is the start of 2012 in ACE, what does the rest of the year hold.
